Most of us would agree that we get too much mail, even junk mail, and that the amount of paper in our lives can sometimes be overwhelming. This is why many of us jump at the opportunity to go paperless, if we can. AT&T U-Verse customers have this convenient option. Plus, there are a few ways that we can select this option and eliminate the amount of paper we have to deal with yet still have access to our AT&T U-Verse account details.
Call AT&T U-Verse Customer Service
One of the easiest ways to go paperless is to simply contact AT&T customer service. Let an account representative know that you'd like to go paperless and they can make the appropriate changes to your account. You will have to provide identifying information in addition to an account number. The AT&T representative will make the adjustment to your account preferences which should go into affect immediately.
Visit the AT&T Website
If you don't want to contact AT&T directly, you have the option to change your account settings on your own. Simply log into your AT&T U-Verse account and select the paperless setting. Your account will be automatically notated immediately and you should be able to get access to your account by simply logging in and accessing the information you need from your online account information. Although you gp paperless, you will still have the option to print out your account details or request a hard copy if you want to. Going paperless simply means that you wont receive paper account statement monthly. However, you can always request one or print one if you want to.
Request the Paperless Setting in Writing
You can always write AT&T and request the paperless setting for your U-Verse account. This is an option if time isn't a strong factor. However, you will have to wait for AT&T customer service to receive your correspondence, process it, and make the changes. However, this is still a viable method to use and will still allow you to go paperless.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers. So we created a free concierge service you can call at the phone number below.
