AT&T U-Verse: How do I reset my DVR?
A simple 8 step guide for solving this common AT&T U-Verse problem quickly and effectively by GetHuman
Hi, we can try and reset your DVR to see if that helps. Try unplugging it from the wall for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in.
If that doesn't work you can try this: Do the same as above but when the three white dots appear on the screen, unplug the receiver/DVR again.
Do this two more times, then plug the receiver/DVR back in on the third time and leave in.
Three white dots will appear followed by a gear with a status bar at the bottom of the screen.
If the Disaster Recovery screen does not appear, repeat the steps above.
From here you can hold down the down arrow, the ok button and the power button and it will reset your DVR completely.
Note if you do this it will delete all of your previous information.
