Were you a little too hasty in buying those shiny sneakers that caught your eye? It's easy to understand how impulsive purchases can be made at a popular store like Adidas, so don't worry. There is a way to get your hard-earned money back. Unfortunately, it's not as straightforward as simply canceling your order.
Adidas does not allow orders to be modified or cancelled after they have been placed. Luckily, they offer free returns on products purchased within 30 days of the receipt date. However, personalized products do not qualify for returns, and Yeezy products must be returned within seven days of the delivery date.
The first step to returning your item is to find your order details. If you have a Creators Club account with Adidas, you can find your order details by signing in to your account and navigating to your order history. Customers who used guest checkout can find their order details in the e-mail provided at the time of purchase. If you plan to ship your product, you will need to print out a return label and place it on your shipping box. The instructions on how to print out a return label will be shown in your order details. Before you ship your order back to Adidas, make sure your item is in its original state and packaging with the tags attached. If the label is giving you problems, there is also an option to use the "Get Mobile Code" button and drop your package off at any UPS store. After you drop off your package at a post office, it will take a few business days for your package to be received at the warehouse and your refund to be processed.
Adidas also allows in-store returns for online orders. For a full refund, their policy states "The original form of payment and confirmation email, or returns sticker from the shipping box, are required for the store to process your return at the full purchase price." If you can't provide your receipt, all hope is not lost! Adidas will still give you store credit for the amount your item is worth. However, keep in mind that your item still needs to be in its original state with the tags attached.
It's important to note that exchange orders will only be accepted for another item in the same color and a different size. Otherwise, you will have to return your current order for a refund and purchase your desired item separately. Additionally, the item must be received by Adidas within 10 days if you wish to make an exchange. If it is received after 10 days, it will only be eligible for a refund.
It might seem like an inconvenience to live without the option of canceling your Adidas order, but the process of returning is quite simple if you understand their policy (which you hopefully do after reading this guide). Don't let yourself be intimidated by the instructions, and go get your money back!

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Adidas in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day.
