We live in a busy world and unexpected things come up all the time, even when it comes to travel. Unexpected things may require us to make changes in our travel plans at the last minute. However, how to go about making changes in your travel plans may not always be so clear cut. Most airlines have a process when it comes to changing a booking. Aeroplan is no different.
The Time frame
If you determine that you need to make a change to your flight plans you can do so up until two hours before a flight. Aeroplan also allows you to make changes to your flight plan after you have already departed as long as the changes are made two hours before the next flight. Simply call customer service to make changes to your flight plan. You can also cancel everyone in your party's booking or just specific members. Furthermore, if changes are made within 24-Hours, Aeroplan will issue you a full refund without any penalties or fees.
What Does it Cost?
Aeroplan charges one hundred dollars each way to make changes to your travel plans. However, Diamond Plan members pay a discounted rate of seventy-five dollars. You can also cancel your current flight without being charged a fee. However, if you request a refund, there is a non-refundable refund fee. However,m you can be reimbursed airport fees and your miles can be reinstated.

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Aeroplan in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do You Change a Flight with Aeroplan? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
