Visit Amazon's return center and select "start a return." Amazon's return policy will reward a full refund for all unopened and new items that are returned within 30 days of purchase. However, this time period may be extended if you are returning an item during the holidays. In addition, if you are returning an item between the first of November and the end of December, Amazon grants an additional month to make returns. After your return item is received by Amazon, your refund will take anywhere from three days and three weeks. Simply enter the item you want to return along with any other information requested by the online application and a return label will be created.
Amazon will provide you with a shipping return label that you can print out and attach to your return package. This label serves as confirmation that your return has been authorized. Simply pack all the items into the return box and affix the label and ship it.
After you have shipped your return, you can track the status by logging into the Amazon return center and clicking manage returns. You will be able to check whether or not your package has made it to Amazon and when you will receive your refund.
