Although ASOS is based out of London, England, they do provide free returns to those in the United States. Refunds are usually processed within 14 days upon receipt of the item. There are some requirements, however:
There are some exceptions to the return policy. For example, items that are no longer hygienic are not returnable. This would include worn earrings and swimsuits that have had the hygiene strip removed. Makeup, face, and body products must have intact packaging and still have their original seal in place to be returned also. The product descriptions should indicate which items need to be kept sealed.
Once you've decided you want to return your item, and made sure it's eligible to be returned, you have to request a return form. Enter your order ID, which can be found under My Orders in your account details if you're signed in at https://asos.us.com. You'll also need to enter your full name, telephone number, email address, and mailing address. Once you've input your information, hit "Next."
At this point, you'll need to decide whether you'd prefer to process the return through USPS or UPS. Pick which carrier you'd like to take the package to, and print off the label provided. Click "Next" to confirm your choices.
Please include a completed returns note inside the package, too. A returns note should have been included inside the parcel when you first received your items, but another one can be printed out if you've lost it. Click here to locate the returns note form.
Finally, once your item and returns note are packed up and you've taped the printed return label to the package, you're ready to drop it off at the location you chose. Be sure to keep your proof of postage in case the package is lost during transit. ASOS will still refund you as long as you provide proof of the shipment.
As soon as ASOS receives the package and confirms it's in its original condition, they'll send a confirmation email to inform you. After that, it just takes up to 10 business days for processing. If you've returned multiple orders within the same parcel, allow them an additional 24 hours to process it. Items will be refunded individually.
Refunds are sent back through the original form of payment, which can take up to 10 business days, depending on the bank or card issuer's processing times. If there are any issues with the refund or if you would like to make a special request regarding your return, you can contact ASOS' customer support team. They are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
