If you ordered a product from Belkin and it turned out to be defective, you need to know how to get a replacement. This article will show you how.

Belkin's Return Policy

In general, all Belkin products are covered by their warranty. However, software and services are not covered, nor are items that have been modified, tampered with, installed improperly or operated improperly. Demo items, items that were released for beta testing or evaluation and items with cosmetic damage only are also not covered.

If your return is accepted, Belkin may decide to try to repair it instead of replacing it. If they are unable to repair it, they will replace it with a reasonably equivalent product, or possibly just give you a refund.

Making the Return

To start the return and exchange process, just follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Belkin's home page.
  2. Click on the Log In/Sign Up link in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
  3. Sign into your account.
  4. Go to the web refund form.
  5. Fill out the form and submit it. This will begin the process.
  6. Follow any instructions you are given.
  7. Package up the item you are returning together with everything that originally came with it and the receipt.
  8. Mail the product to Belkin at the address below. Once Belkin receives the item and makes a decision about repairing, replacing or refunding, it will contact you.

Expediting the Replacement Process

If your item was purchased at a store instead of online, you may be able to expedite the replacement process in one of the following ways:

  1. Take the item back to the store you bought it from. After a customer service representative has examined the item, you may be able to receive a replacement immediately, if the store has one in stock.
  2. Email Belkin a scan of your return's mailing receipt, to prove that you have started the return process. Your name and case number must also be in the email. Belkin may then ship your product from the warehouse before receiving your return.
  3. Choose the advanced replacement option. A hold will be placed on your credit card and a replacement shipped immediately The hold will be lifted once Belkin receives the returned item. This option is available only for purchases made with credit cards. Debit cards are not accepted.
