Bookbyte sells and rents less expensive textbooks for college students. If you received the wrong textbook, or if you rented one and the rental period has come to an end, then read on to learn how to return the book to Bookbyte.

Bookbyte's Return Policy

Bookbyte has a no question money back guarantee on all of its textbooks. Just make the return within 14 days of purchase, and you will get a refund of the purchase price less shipping fees and taxes. If you are returning the book because of an error on Bookbyte's part, you will receive a full refund.

Returning a Book Purchased at Bookbyte

  1. Go to Bookbyte's home page.
  2. Click the Log In link in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Log in to your account.
  4. Click on the Return This Book button next to the book you want to return.
  5. Select the reason for the return. You will be told if your reason qualifies for a pre-paid shipping label. If you do not qualify, you will be charged a fee of $5.95 for the label. If you do not use the label, you package processing may be delayed by up to 6 weeks.
  6. Print the shipping label.
  7. Put the book in a box.
  8. Attach the shipping label to the box.
  9. Mail the package at your local Post Office. After Bookbyte receives the book, it will send you a confirmation email and issue your refund.

The shipping label can only be used with a single book. If you need to return multiple books, you will need to print a shipping label for each of them and ship them separately.

Returning a Book Rented from Bookbyte

  1. Go to Bookbyte's home page.
  2. Click the Log In link in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Log in to your account.
  4. Click on the Return My Rental button. This will start the download of a shipping label.
  5. Put your book in a box.
  6. Attach the shipping label.
  7. Mail the package at your local Post Office.

These shipping labels can only be used to return a single book at a time.
