You have the option of adding new lines and assigning or transferring a phone number or adding existing Boost lines by creating a family account. This can be accomplished by logging into your account and following the prompts to add additional lines. There will be instructions for adding existing Boost customers as well as new lines to create new Boost customers that will be on a primary Boost account.
As a Boost Mobile customer, you may want to add other people to your account. This is not difficult. It just requires a few simple steps. Of course, you will need to determine if you want to add people who have phones that have already been activated or if you want to add new phones that haven't been activated and haven't yet been assigned a phone number. Primary Boost Line Holders Who Want to Add Other Existing Lines...
If you are the primary person on your Boost account you can add other existing lines to your account by simply logging in to your account and creating a family. A family is a group of phones/lines/phone numbers that are grouped under one primary account. These additional lines are considered secondary lines. Add each additional Boost mobile line to the primary or main Boost mobile line and select invite. The invited Boost mobile customer will receive a free text with an invitation. The invited Boost member must log in to their account and select accept. This is the method that can be used to add existing Boost customers to a primary Boost mobile account.
Adding New Lines to a Primary Boost Mobile Account...
If you want to add new lines to an existing Boost mobile account you will need to activate each device. YOu will need to navigate to Boost mobile to activate the account by entering the MEID or ESN in the cack of your device or underneath the battery. YOu may be able to locate these numbers on the box the device came in as well. ONce you have entered all the requested information select start activation.
You will then be prompted to create a phone =number by entering your zip code or reference number and selecting search. Then select the area code and the closest city and select the option to continue. You may be prompted to read a message about device insurance and then select exit. The next step is to select a plan and any additional add on services you may want. Enter all the personal information requested and remember to select your language preference from the dropdown window:
- Create your four-digit pin and confirm it.
- Review and accept the Boost Mobile Terms and conditions.
- Select your payment option.
- Follow the rest of the prompts on your device to continue the activation process.
- The device is activated and ready to use once it restarts.
- If the activation process doesn't work, follow the instructions to manually activate the phone.
Transferring an Existing Phone Number to a Boost Account
Anyone who has a phone that has already been assigned a number can choose to keep their number by choosing the option to transfer Your number.
