Capital One, like other financial institutions, allows customers to set up automatic payments or eBills on their accounts, but how do you go about electing eBills? You can find out more about Capital One's accounts, services and billing by calling customer support here, and below are ways to set up eBills on your account.

Scheduling eBills From Your Capital One Account

Capital One allows customers to set up eBills, called bill pay, from their checking accounts online and through the mobile app.

Starting Bill Pay Online or Through the Mobile App

To start bill pay, you need to follow the steps listed below:

  1. Go to the Capital One website on your computer or open the Capital One app on your phone or tablet and log in.
  2. Open your checking account by clicking the link.
  3. Choose "bill pay" from the options on the screen.
  4. Click "Add biller" to set up the online payment or recurring payments.
  5. If the payee is new, you will need to add the information to the account. If you have already added this payee, choose it from your payee list.
  6. Enter the amount of the payment, payment date and other required information. If it is a recurring payment, click the box to set up more than one payment.
  7. Make sure all the information is correct and confirm it is to finish setting up the bill pay.

Once you've added an eBill or bill pay, the stress of making monthly payments eases because you know it will be taken care of automatically. By electing eBills, you're also helping the environment because all the information regarding the payments can be accessed online instead of on paper through the mail. For more assistance or support with bill pay, call Capital One customer support.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Capital One Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
