Most of us move at some time or another. However, many of us don't want to change our services or subscriptions just because we move. This may be p;particularly true when it comes to our cable service. Fortunately, moving doesn't mean that we need to change cable providers. Comcast/Xfinity customers can simply update their account to make note of a change in address in addition to other things. There are several ways that Comcast customers can do this.
Call Comcast Directly
Comcast customers can call customer service directly and give a Comcast representative any pertinent information. If you have moved, changed phone numbers, email addresses, or any other information, a customer service representative can make updates to your account and they will go into effect immediately.
Use the Comcast App
If you don't wan to call customer service to make updates to your accountt, you can always make these changes by logging into your account through the Comcast app. Simply log into your account and navigate to contact information or anything else you want to change or update. Remember to select the edit button to make any changes and select save once you're done.
Visit a Retail Store
You can also update your account by visiting a Comcast retail store. You can work with a store representative and make any changes that need to be updated. This information will be noted by the representative and saved. The changes should take effect immediately.
Make Changes on our Bill
If you receive a paper bill in the mail, there is usually an option to make changes to your contact information in addition to things that may need to reflect a change. Simply make those changes in the allotted spaces on your bill and send those changes in writing along with you payment information. This method is perhaps the most dated but it still works.

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Update Information in My Comcast Account? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible.
