How do I sign up for Comcast services?

A simple 12 step guide for solving this common Comcast problem quickly and effectively by GetHuman

Before you get started, be sure you have: Account phone number, social security number, Billing address
Open the Comcast homepage .
Click "Shop/Upgrade".
Scroll down to see if there are bundles or deals in your area by clicking on the search bar and typing in your address.
Enter your home address, apartment number (if applicable) and zipcode.
Select from the options provided on deals and click "Add to Cart" below the deal you would like to select.
Select the number of routers you need for your home or business. The default number is one router but if you need more click the plus symbol, then click "Next".
You will need to choose whether to lease or buy your own modem. If you want to lease a modem click on the button that says "Lease a modem" then click "Next". If you wish to buy a modem you will need to do so at an electronics store.
You will be prompted to fill out a form for personal information. Fill in account holder information and billing address then click "Continue securely".
You can then choose free delivery without installation or you can have Comcast deliver and install the equipment for you.
Choose delivery options and shipping options then click "Next".
Review your order, check the box at the bottom that acknowledges you are at least 18 years old and older. Once you are satisfied with your Comcast deal, click "Submit Order".
You will receive a confirmation email that includes both your receipt and also your shipping number.
