To cancel you service you will need to call Cox Communications here. Make sure you have all of the information on your account including the address of service, the account number, and phone number on the account. Most times it's easiest to find a copy of your most recent bill before you call. Also, make sure you know your account number before calling.

If you disconnect your services in the middle of your billing cycle your bill will be pro-rated. This means that you will be billed only for the partial month of services used prior to the disconnection.

Once you disconnect your service, you will need to return any equipment such as cable boxes, modems, remote controls etc. To find the nearest drop off location, go to www.cox.com, click the "Contact" link at the very top right of the webpage, then click "Find a Solutions Store". Once the map displays, click the "Product Drop Off" checkbox located in the menu to the right of the map.

Make sure you receive a receipt for every part of this process. Also make sure to check your account the following month to make sure your account was fully canceled.
