How do I get a refund for a Delta flight I missed due to personal emergency?
A simple 6 step guide for solving this common Delta problem quickly and effectively by GetHuman
Name on the ticket, Billing address, Booking reference, Date of booking, Flight number
You can do this two ways but the first one is to go to the refunds page
online to submit the issue to Delta.
Under "Contact Information" enter your First and Last Name, and your billing address
Enter your information in "Ticket Information."
Enter Flight Information in "Flight Information."
In the section for "Reason for Request" click Flight Cancellation from the drop down menu. Under that you can describe the issue that you had that caused you to miss your flight. If you would like to let them know that it was a personal emergency, you can do that but if you aren't comfortable letting them know the exact reason, then leave that part out. Once you are done, click Submit and you should hear back in a week or so.
If this form is too much for you, or if you don't know some of the information you can call Delta on the phone with this number. Once you have a rep on the phone, let them know the reason for your flight and that you would like a refund. Let us know how it goes and if you would like our help!
