Note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dick's Sporting Goods, Field & Stream, Golf Galaxy, and Calia have extended their return policy for online and in-store purchases from 60 days to 90 days.

DICK'S Sporting Goods return policy

The following terms must be met in order to get a refund or exchange:

  • You must have the packing slip or the original receipt in order to get cashback applied to the initial payment form.
  • If you don't have a packing slip or the original sales receipt, you can use your valid ID to be issued store credit for the lowest selling amount.   • If you purchased the item with a gift receipt, you will receive another gift card.
  • If you redeemed a coupon or a Scorecard Reward, the refund amount will be adjusted.
  • Should any items require repair, they will be returned to an authorized service center or to the manufacturer.
  • Identification that can be accepted is a Driver's license issued in the U.S. or Canada, a U.S. Military ID, a U.S. State ID, or a U.S. Passport.

In addition, the store is committed to its scanner pricing system accuracy. Therefore, at the point of sale, if you are charged more than the price advertised or the price labeled in-store, it will honor the lower price.

Restrictions and Exclusions

While you can return most items there are some things that cannot be taken back, such as Firearms, Rifles/Muzzleloaders, Ammunition, Gun Powders, Hunting Bows, Crossbows, Primers, Used Bikes, things that Require Fuel, Airbeds, Autographed Memorabilia, and Collectibles, Special Order or custom Items, and Gift Cards.

There are also some items that cannot be returned after the package has been opened that include Baseball Bats, Air Beds, Football Helmets, Electronic Bikes or scooters, and Thera gun and Hype rice Electronics.

Returning an Online or in-store purchase at a store or by Mail

You will need to visit the website to get a return label for online purchases. Select "In-Store Return" or "Mail-in-Return". Next, enter your billing zip code and confirmation number and you will get a return label. You can return your item in-store, using the curbside contactless return at select locations. For curbside returns, you must place your items in the trunk of your car. Call the store when you arrive, click here for the number. Dial "0" to talk to a representative who will ask that you read your order or receipt number to them, after that they will come to get the item from your trunk and ask that you remain in your car for a contactless experience. Finally, you will be provided with an e-receipt.
