Call DirecTV support service
When you call the customer service, you will speak to an agent about your plan to cancel the service. Calling will make you get more information about your account, which is not available online.
Navigate through the spoken instructions. When prompted, press a number on your dial pad, which corresponds to an option choose the "other" option if it is available. This is a fast way to reach a human customer support agent.
Indicate you want to cancel your service

The minimum cancellation fee is $15. Most subscriptions you will pay a fee of $20 for each month for the remaining time of the contract. If the cancellation is for a deceased family member, you will not pay the fee.
