How to Reset or Change Your Password

If you need to reset, update, or change your DoorDash password, either visit the DoorDash website, open the app and follow the steps below, or click here to contact a support agent at Doordash

Change Your Password

If you know your old password, follow the steps below to change your password.

  1. Login to your DoorDash account on the DoorDash website or in the phone app and navigate to your account.
  2. If you are using the DoorDash website, click the three stacked lines (Menu icon) found at the upper right corner of the page and choose "Account" from the menu.
  3. If you are using the DoorDash app, tap "Account" found at the bottom of the bar and click on your name.
  4. Tap or click "Change Password".
  5. Enter your old password, then your new password.
  6. Tap or click "Change My Password" and complete the update.

Reset Your Password

If you forgot your password, follow the steps below to reset your password.

  1. Navigate to the "Password Reset Page" on the DoorDash website.
  2. Enter your email address that's associated with your DoorDash account then click, "Reset Password".
  3. You will soon receive an email from no-reply@doordash.com with "Password Reset" in the subject line that contains instructions to reset your password on the DoorDash website.
  4. If you did not get the email containing the reset information, Click on "Still Need Help?" found at the bottom of the Reset Password page, and submit a support ticket for help.

After clicking on the link sent in your email, you will be taken to a page that will allow you to create a new password.

Please note, If you have a Dasher account as well, after changing the password for your DoorDash customer account, your password will also be changed for your Dasher account.

How To Update Your Account Information

You can change your personal information at any time in your account. You will need to validate ownership of your account through the 2-Factor Authentication process for security purposes. You can use the app or visit the DoorDash website to change any of the following in your DoorDash account:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Country (Web only)
  • Update your notification preferences
  • Password (you will be required to enter your old password and a new password)

To update your profile, follow these steps:

Mobile app users

  1. Open the DoorDash app.
  2. At the top left-hand side of the screen, tap the "account icon".
  3. Tap "Profile".
  4. Tap the field you wish to update.
  5. At the upper right-hand corner, tap the "checkmark".
  6. Verify your information through the 2-Factor Authentication then follow the on-screen instructions, which will help guide you through this process.

Desktop users

  1. Login to your DoorDash account on the DoorDash website.
  2. Open the menu located at the upper left-hand corner.
  3. Select "Account".
  4. Edit the fields you wish to update.
  5. Select "Save".
  6. Verify your information through the 2-Factor Authentication then follow the on-screen instructions, which will help guide you through this process.
