Facebook: How do I report a problem with an advertiser or business account?
A simple 6 step guide for solving this common Facebook problem quickly and effectively by GetHuman
Before you get started, be sure you have: Email address on the account, Pin/Password on the account, Name on the account
Whether it's a company that is posting annoying ads, or if it's a company that you made a purchase with through something you saw on Facebook, we can help you to report the problem to Facebook. Once you send the issue to Facebook, they will investigate and will work to remove the company from their platform so no one else needs to deal with them again. When you are ready click here to open their reporting page.
Now, with the page open, enter the URL or the company you are wishing to report. If you don't know the URL but the company has a Facebook page, paste the URL of the Facebook business page.
If the issue was related to your unhappiness with a product that was not received, or a product that you were unhappy with, then make that selection. If the issue is related to an advertisement that you want to report, click "Other".
Below that where it says "Additional Information" let them know that you saw an ad that you thought was inappropriate, and that you would like to report it.
Next, if you have a screenshot of the ad, you can send it as part of the submission by clicking "Choose file" and attaching it.
When you are happy with your submission, go ahead and click Submit and you will hear back from Facebook in 24-72 hours.
