What do I do if I’m blocked from logging into my Facebook profile (and I don't have a government issued ID)?
A simple 7 step guide for solving this common Facebook problem quickly and effectively by GetHuman
Trying to login into your Facebook profile and noticed that are blocked? Not to worry. Most likely something triggered something on Facebook's end and they temporarily blocked your access to your account until you can confirm your identity. If you don't have a government issued ID, you can still get your account back. You will just need to get two forms of ID that show your picture as well as the name that matches the name on your profile. Go ahead and grab those as we'll need to upload them to Facebook in a moment and once you do, head to the Facebook login page.
Now that you have your ID's, we'll need to get them onto your computer by either scanning the, or taking a picture of them with your phone. Make the scan or take the picture now.
If you are worried about sharing too much information on your ID's you can cover the confidential information the information that you do not wish to show. Place a piece of tape over the portions you do not want shown before you scan, or you can edit the pictures after you scan them by using a photo editing application.
Make sure the picture is clear so that your name, birthday and photo are clear.
Once you are ready to upload your scan from your computer,
click here to go to the page to upload the scan, by clicking "Upload" and select the file from where you saved it.
It should take Facebook 24-72 hours to contact you regarding your issue. Facebook will email once they have reviewed your information and they will ask you to confirm your ID. Reply to the email to register the email address on the account and you should be good to go!
