Go Smart Mobile does not sell any phones of its own account. The Go Smart Mobile service is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) service and you have to buy a cell phone elsewhere if you want to use their service.
Majority of T-Mobile devices are compatible with the Go Smart service provided that they are out of contract, they have no outstanding balance and have not been reported stolen or lost. Phones that are universally unlocked such as those from Samsung and Motorola are compatible with the Go Smart network.
The Go Smart Mobile service plans are few. The first service plan is the Go Smart Mobile T&T. It includes unlimited talk, unlimited text and 1 GB of 3G data. The price of the service plan is $25.
Another service plan is the Go Smart Mobile 5 GB. As the name suggests, the plan involves 5 GB of data. It also consists of unlimited talk and text. The service plan costs a total of $30.
The Go Smart Mobile T&T 20 GB service plan includes just that: 20 GB of data, unlimited talk and unlimited text for $45.
There is also a Go Smart Mobile T&T Unlimited service plan which includes unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited data, all for $55.
Cancelling your Go Smart Mobile Account
How to cancel your Go Smart Mobile account is not a simple task. There are certain requirements to do so. The first is that you will have to provide your phone number and SIM number to prove that you are indeed a Go Smart Mobile member.
Another requirement is that you will have to prove that you have no outstanding balance before you terminate your account. If you do not, you will have to pay the balance before your account can be cancelled.
Since Go Smart Mobile was acquired by Tracfone, there is one easy way to cancel your account. You can simply not top up your account once the balance is depleted. If you do so, your account will simply be discontinued after 30 days.
