Google Wallet is payment service developed by Google which you can use to pay for items purchased on Google Play, YouTube, Google Drive and other Google sites. The Google Wallet allows users to receive or send money without anyone incurring any charges. The Google Wallet is now commonly referred to as Google Pay.

Google Wallet is predominantly used to purchase apps on the app store. However, it can be used by any merchant and customer who sign up for the service.

The service makes to very convenient for merchants to receive payment, and customers to pay, for goods and services. You can use Google Wallet any where you do business including online and in brick and mortar stores.

Refund Policy

Merchants are responsible for returns, refunds, voided transactions and cancellations paid for using Google Wallet as with any other payment method.

However, there is one important exception. To void a transaction or request a refund, a merchant may be required to provide the last four digits of their virtual account number or card.

6. Select 'Request a refund'

8. Ensure you see the message 'Thank you for sharing your concerns.' You will then receive an email with Google's refund decision. The email can take anywhere between 15 minutes to four business days to arrive.

By Android

If you are using an Android device, you can get a refund for a play store purchase made with Google Wallet through the following steps:

1. Launch your phone's web browser. Chrome is recommended

2. Enter play.ggogle.com in the URL search bar

3. Click 'Menu' on the play store homepage

4. Go to 'Account'

5. Click 'Order History'

6. Select the order you want reimbursed, swipe left and then click 'More'

7. Select 'Request a refund'

8. Complete the form on the subsequent page and clearly state that you would like a refund for your purchase

9. Ensure you see the message 'Thank you for sharing your concerns' and wait for an email reply.

By iOS

The process for requesting a refund on your iPhone or iPad is as follows:

1. Launch your device's web browser. Safari is recommended

2. Enter play.google.com in the URL search bar

3. Click 'Menu' on the play store homepage

4. Go to 'Account'

5. Click 'Order History'

6. Select the order you want reimbursed, swipe left and then click 'More'

7. Select 'Request a refund'
