If you noticed an incorrect charge on your Instacart bill, or if you were charged for something that wasn't up to par, you are entitled to a refund. Here's what you need to do to request one.

Instacart is a convenient new way to shop for groceries. Even though they try their best to deliver your groceries on time and in good condition, it is not always possible.

If any products are missing from your order, you may qualify for a refund. You may also qualify for a refund if your order has any problems. You qualify for a refund up to seven days after the order is complete. If you wait too long, it may be impossible to get a refund.

You should get your refund in five to ten business days depending on your bank or credit card company.

If the refund is not reflected in your account within that time, you should contact your bank or credit card company.

If your order had deliveries from multiple stores, the receipt will have lists of each store's items displayed as a tab.

Canceling Your Order

If you change your mind about an order on Instacart, you do not need to wait until it is delivered. You can cancel it and get a full delivery with no additional fees. Follow these steps to cancel your order.

In the App

1. Click on the 'Account' icon

2. Click 'Your Orders'

3. Tap on the order you would like to cancel

4. Lick 'Cancel Order' on the 'Order' page

5. Confirm your cancellation

On a Computer

1. Log in to your account and click 'Account'

2. Click 'Your Orders' in the dropdown menu

3. Click on the order you want to cancel

4. Click 'Cancel Order' at the top of your 'Order' page

If you cancel your order during the shopping process, you will still get your refund. You may, however, need to pay a fee. If you wish to cancel an order that is in progress, you must contact the customer support team. You may contact them on the phone or through their help desk.
