How do I get a refund for a JetBlue flight?

According to the JetBlue website, you should know that the JetBlue refund policy states:
"If your flight is cancelled for any reason, and you do not wish to reschedule your travel, you can request a full refund or a credit for future travel on JetBlue (good for one year) online via your emailed flight cancellation notice. Simply select the "Click here" button to get started. Once submitted, we will process your request within 7 to 10 business days. For refunds to Travel Bank: We'll notify you via email once your Travel Bank refund is complete. For refunds to Original Form of Payment: Refunds will be issued to the form of payment originally used to book the reservation. For credit/debit cards, please check with your financial institution. For JetBlue gift cards, refunds will be issued as a JetBlue service credit."
Unfortunately, you cannot submit a refund request online and you will have to call and speak to an agent. Use this number to speak to JetBlue. The key is to be nice and stay calm. It sounds crazy but customer service agents are more likely to help you out if you are nice to them so keep that in mind when you are on the phone with them!
