Koodo Mobile is a Canadian discount mobile service provider. The company was started by parent company Telus as a low-cost solution with no fixed term plans. The company was founded in 2008 and has headquarters in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Koodo Mobile offers customers phones, phone plans, and prepaid phone plans.
If you have a plan with Koodo Mobile, you can change your plan at any time. Note that some fees might apply when changing your plan.
Go to www.koodomobile.com
In the top right corner of the screen, select 'Log In.'
Sign in to your account with your email address and password. Make sure you are signing in as a 'Monthly Customer' which is selected above the sign in box. Enter your information and select 'Log In.'
At the top of the screen, click on 'Self Serve' and from the dropdown menu, click on 'Mobile Services.'
On the new screen, it will display your current plan. Click on 'Change My Plan.'
Select the type of phone you currently have.
Review all the plan options and select the plan you want to switch to. Click on 'Switch to this plan.'
Review the plan details, and select 'Change to this plan.'
Click 'I Agree' to confirm your changed plan.
You will receive a confirmation email with the details of your new plan. Review the email to make sure everything looks correct.
If you are having issues with the online process, or prefer to speak to a person, you can call the Koodo Customer Service Team. Let the customer service agent know that wish to change your plan. It's helpful to have your account number on hand to give to the agent along with the details of the plan you want to upgrade to. You can find your account number on the top of your previous bills.
Make sure to ask the customer service agent what fees might apply when you change your plan. Keep the representative on the phone until you receive your confirmation email and have reviewed it to make sure everything is correct.
Note that you can only change your plan once per billing cycle. You can see the dates of your billing cycle under your online account.
In some instances, if you have an outstandint Tab balance, you may have to pay it off before switching to another plan. You can see your Tab balance in your online account.
