There are some exceptions to this time frame, though. Major appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators and ovens must have the return initiated within 48 hours to qualify for a refund. TVs and other household electronics, as well as outdoor power equipment, plumbing, air conditioners, and vehicles must be returned within 30 days. If your purchase was made with a Lowe's Commercial Account, Lowe's Business Rewards, Lowe's Business Advantage, or Lowe's Advantage Card, you have 365 days to make the return.
