If you bought something from NordicTrack and found, once you got it, that it was damaged or defective, then you probably want to exchange it for undamaged equipment that functions properly. Keep on reading to learn how.

NordicTrack's Return Policy

NordicTrack requests that customers inspect packages for damage upon receiving them, and before opening them and that they take pictures of any damage. Those pictures may be necessary for making a claim against the shipping company. The company wants you to report any sign of damage within 24 hours of receiving the equipment. However, If you do not notice the damage until you set the equipment up later, contact NordicTrack to work it out.

You have a maximum of 30 days to initiate the return. The company will try to fix the problem. If that is impossible, it will replace the equipment instead. For discontinued equipment, NordicTrack will replace it with similar equipment or issue a refund.

NordicTrack will assess the returned item before approving the exchange. If it is has a major defect, NordicTrack will pay for the return freight costs. You may have to pay a restocking fee of 10% of the cost of the item. If the equipment was damaged while in your care, you may not receive a refund.

How to Make the Exchange

Contact NordicTrack's customer service department and explain the situation to them. They will tell you what you need to do next, whether it involves taking and sending in pictures, following repair advice, or contacting the shipping company. Once NordicTrack has decided to accept the return and process it for an exchange, the customer service representative will give you instructions for shipping the equipment back to the company.


NordicTrack does not accept returns because you changed your mind about the purchase. However, if the equipment you bought arrived in a damaged state, the company will try to repair it. If repairs prove to be impossible, the company will allow you to return the item and it will ship you a replacement in exchange. Terms and fees may apply.
