  1. There are a few pieces of information you'll need to reset your password.
    1. PNC user ID and social security number or PNC user ID and tax ID number.

    3. Debit card and PIN from your personal account or a phone number added to be a password reset if you don't have a personal account or are a business account customer.
  2. Go to and click on Forgot User ID or password, which is directly beneath the password field.
  3. Click on the Reset Password Now in the Forgot Your Password section and follow the prompts to reset your password.

If you forgot your user ID and you cannot remember it with the following hints, you will need to call customer service here. They are open 7 days a week, Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. Eastern, and Saturdays and Sundays are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

  1. User IDs must be between 8 and 20 characters long and can contain letters, number and only four special characters.
    1. At symbol @
    2. Dash –
    3. Underscore _
    4. Period .
  2. User IDs can't have spaces.
  3. The same User ID can be used to access PNC Voice banking as well as online banking if the ID is all numbers.
