Quicken: Password not working

A simple 4 step guide for solving this common Quicken problem quickly and effectively by GetHuman

Download the Password Removal Tool and save it to your computer's desktop.

Double-click QuickenPasswordReset.exe on your desktop to launch the Password Removal Tool.

Once you've download the tool and opened it
1. Identify yourself.
2. Upload your data file to our secure Quicken server.
3. Once Quicken receives the file, they'll remove the data file password.
4. You'll then need to verify that you are the owner of the data file.

Finally, they will download the password-removed data file to your computer. Once you open the data file up in Quicken, you can decide if you want to reassign a new password to the file or not.
