RockAuto makes it convenient to order car parts and receive them in the mail. However, from time to time it's possible to order the wrong car part or a part that you don't need. As a result, RockAuto has a return policy that allows you to return car parts by following a few simple steps.
RockAuto gives you six months from the purchase date to return car parts and cores. This must be done within the six month period to receive a refund. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless otherwise stated in the catalog or return instructions. However, RockAuto does provide a discount on shipping costs if you use their returns page to print out a shipping label.
Start the return process by logging into the RockAuto website by using the email, phone number, or order number that you purchased your part with. Navigate to the order status and returns page. Once you've navigated to the order and status page, use the online document or form to thoroughly explain why you are returning the part. This part of the return process comes after you select the option to make a change. Once you've printed your shipping label and mailed your car part, you can periodically track it to ensure the part gets back to RockAuto. You will need to log in to RockAuto and follow the same procedure you used to return your part, however, you should enter the return tracking number instead of requesting a shipping label.
RockAuto allows customers to return car parts, however, the shipping must be paid by the customer.
