Account alerts make it possible to receive your card balance through email or mobile phone. If RushCard does not have your correct contact information, they may be sending your alerts to the wrong number.
You can choose from the following account alerts;
1. Reload Now Alerts-you get a reminder to reload when your account has $25 or less
2. Daily balance-you get an alert of your account balance every day
3. Weekly balance-your account balance is sent to you every week.
If you have changed your email or phone number, contact the support team and ask them to help you update your information. You may also edit the information directly on your profile.
When Your Card Is About to Expire
If your card is about to expire, you can get a new one. However, you need to update your account information first. Ensure that the address you have provided is correct. If it is not, you can update it in your account. Log in and click on the option 'My Account' in the navigation bar. Click 'Edit Info' from the menu options and enter your correct address.
Another option is to contact the customer support team and ask for help. Ask them to update your information with the correct address.
You should update your information as soon as possible. The re-issuance process starts about 45 days before your card expires. If you have not updated your information by that time, you may have trouble receiving your new card.
You may also contact the support team if you need help canceling your account. Find the 'Customer Care' tab in the navigation bar and tap on the option 'close Card. You should receive a check for your remaining balance. This may be difficult if your address information is not updated.
