How do I get a refund for a Ryanair flight I missed due to personal emergency?
A simple 10 step guide for solving this common Ryanair problem quickly and effectively by GetHuman
Before you get started, be sure you have: Email address on the account, Ticket number, Booking reference, Date of booking, Flight number, Name on the ticket
You can file a claim for a refund a couple of different ways and we can help. If you would like to submit this issue to them to review, you can submit a claim here and someone will review your case and decide whether or not a refund is in order.
From the drop down menu marked "Reason for Refund Request" click "Death or serious illness of a customer booked to travel"
Then, enter your flight reservation number.
Click if this is a one way ticket or a return ticket.
Enter the date of the flight
Enter your name and email address.
Finally, enter the CAPTCHA in the box, then select the option for "I wish to apply for a refund for ALL customers and for ALL flights booked on this flight reservation" then click "Submit refund request"
Sometimes you can't find all of the information on your flight for the refund. In this case you will need to contact them directly. The best way to do this is by using their live chat and not their phone number. Open this link to start the chat.
Enter your information and then Start the Chat. The chat may tell you that the queue is full. Wait for someone else to finish their issue and you will be added to the queue to eventually speak to a Ryanair rep. Good luck!
