Simple Mobile is a government sponsored cell service provider. Customers have to be eligible to participate in the government sponsored program.

When you see unwarranted charges on your bill. Any transactional error on your account may be a cause for frustration.

There are commonly two types of disputes in association with Simple Mobile bills. The first type of disputes are unauthorized charges or billing errors. These include charges on your account you did not make or authorize, incorrect amount of a charge, multiple charges for a single transaction and a charge for a cancelled subscription.

The second type of disputes are service or quality disputes. These include not receiving a refund after returning a product, a charge for merchandize that never arrived or a cancelled transaction that was still charged.

The Dispute Process

The dispute process takes some time and there is little you can do to speed up the process.

As soon as you make your dispute, the Simple Mobile customer service team will start collecting information about your case. The team will then send you a follow up message about your case.

You may be prompted to submit additional resources to support your case. Simple Mobile's dispute team will submit your case alongside the gathered information to the administration team who will then deal with the merchant.

The merchant will be granted an opportunity to respond to the dispute. The disputes team will then proceed towards a final resolution of your dispute. They should also send you notification with every update about the case.

If the dispute is resolved and you are victorious, you will be refunded the appropriate amount. If there was temporary credit offered it will be made permanent.

If the dispute does not go your way, you can still try and reach a resolution directly with the merchant. You can also ask the Simple Mobile disputes team to give you evidence as to why you lost the case. They are required to submit the documents if you do so.

Disputing the Transaction

You can dispute a charge on your Simple Mobile Bill through the following process:

1. Launch your web browser and open the Simple Mobile website

2. Log in to your account

3. Go to your activity page

4. Select the transaction that you wish to dispute. If you are disputing multiple transactions, you will have to select them individually

5. You should see the details of the transaction right alongside it

6. Select 'Report an issue with this transaction.' There is an option to contact support directly at this stage

7. Select a reason for the dispute. If you choose 'I don't recognize this transaction' your card/account will be automatically blocked. Only when the dispute is resolved will your card/account be unblocked/replaced

8. You will be prompted to fill in certain details about your dispute. The questions asked will depend on the reason for the dispute. It is important to note that the more detailed your answers, the better the chances, and the faster, the dispute will be resolved

9. Click 'Create Dispute'

10. You will be redirected to a Dispute Detail page where you will have the option to add other transactions. If the transaction has a different dispute reason, you will have to create a different dispute for it to be resolved.

You can speed up the dispute process by giving customer service as much detail about the transaction as possible when filing the dispute. Email, receipts, contracts or any other documents you think may be helpful will be helpful.
