Contact Solar City Customer Service Team Via Phone

You can call the Solar City customer service line to provide feedback directly to headquarters. When you provide feedback, it's best to be as detailed as possible. If you can remember names, locations, and dates, that will help the customer service agent pass the feedback back to the correct source.

Submit a Comment Online

If you prefer not to speak to someone over the phone, you can submit an online comment on the website. When you go through the "Contact Us" link on the Solar City website, it redirects to the Tesla website as Tesla is the parent company. Rest assured this is still the correct route to take.

  1. Go to https://www.tesla.com/contact

  2. Submit the required fields for your first and last name, phone number, email, zip code, and country.

  3. Choose if you prefer to be contacted via phone or email. Note that if your feedback requires a response (for example a complaint about a faulty installation), the company will reach out to you in regards to next steps.

  4. Under 'Topic,' select 'Ordering a Tesla Powerwall or Solar Roof.'

  5. Under the 'Comment' text box, leave your feedback about your experience with Solar City. Be as specific in the comments as possible.

  6. Select 'Submit.'

  7. A pop-up window appears confirming that your form has been submitted and you will be contacted with a response soon. It may take several business days to receive a response.

Contact Solar City Via Twitter

Many companies monitor their social media pages daily. You can choose to send your feedback to Solar City via Twitter.

  1. Go to https://twitter.com/solarcity

  2. If you aren't signed in to your Twitter account, you will need to sign in at this point. Select 'Log In' in the top right corner of your screen. Use your email address, username, or phone number and password to sign in.

  3. You can choose to send Solar City a public or private tweet. If you send a public tweet, everyone on the Twitter platform will be able to see your message.   4. If you prefer to send a private message to the company, select the little mail icon in the Solar City profile box. This will take you to your direct message inbox on Twitter and will allow you to send a message to the company.

  5. Wait to hear if you receive a response. This could take several days and there is no guarantee you will receive a response from them using this approach. If you have a serious issue or complaint, the customer service representative will likely ask to be able to contact you in another way (by phone or email). If you submitted positive feedback, the company may retweet it to their followers.
