Square: How do I find a specific transaction?

A simple 11 step guide for solving this common Square problem quickly and effectively by GetHuman

Before you get started, be sure you have: Email address on the account, Password

Sign in to your account with your username and password here https://squareup.com/login?return_to=%2Fdashboard%2Fsales%2Ftransactions

On the dashboard, click Transactions

Set the date range

Select All Day

Select All Locations

Click Export

If you know the credit card of the person that you are looking up, from the Dashboard, click Reports

Follow the same steps as above until you reach the point where you complete inputting in the date ranges.

In the top right you will see "Search by card". In that box enter the last four digits of the credit card number

If you don't know the credit card number, then you will need to contact the person to supply that information.
