Starwood Hotels and Marriott are one company because they merged in 2016. If you've booked a reservation with Starwood and want to cancel it to get a refund, you first need to review the cancellation policy. The policy should inform you on how much will be refunded or if there are fees when you decide to cancel.
After booking a reservation, you'll get a confirmation email that includes the cancellation policy. Make sure you fully understand it before canceling your reservation.
You can also view the cancellation policy online. If you're about to book a reservation, click the Rate Details when viewing a list of the available rooms. The cancellation policy is shown in the Rate Details screen. You can also view the policy when reviewing your reservation.
For customers with an existing reservation, click on the Cancellation Policy link to view the policy or view the details of your reservation. The cancellation policy will be under Dates of Stay.
If you don't have a reservation yet, go to the list of available rooms and tap on Rate Details under Rate Plan. It should open up the Cancellation Policy. You can also view the cancellation policy on the Review Reservation Details page.
For those with reservations already, open the reservation and tap on Reservation Details and scroll down to see Starwood or Marriott's Cancellation Policy.
If you made a reservation using another platform, check the confirmation email to view the hotel's cancellation policy. Please contact Customer Support if you have questions about refunds or Starwood's Cancellation Policy.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers. So we created a free concierge service you can call at the phone number below.
