TransferWise is an online money transferring platform. Users can use the platform to transfer money internationally for a small fee. Before reaching out to TransferWise for support, check you aren't encountering any of the below common problems:
Your TransferWise name and bank account name don't match.
Bank transfer was sent to the incorrect bank account. Check the 'Activity' section of your TransferWise account and ensure the details for the transfer are correct.
The bank transfer amount and the amount you selected on your TransferWise transfer don't match. If this happens, TransferWise will send you an email and ask you to reset the transfer.
Every TransferWise transfer is provided with a unique reference number beginning with P. This needs to be included in the bank transfer to TransferWise to identify your payment correctly. If your bank didn't include this information, you'll need to get a proof of payment document from them to present to TransferWise.
If you've checked all of the above possible issues and are still having issues sending money with TransferWise, you'll need to contact the customer support team. You will need to provide personal and contact details to confirm your identity. If the agent is able to send your transfer for you, ask them for an email confirmation of the transfer.
