    • Invite code (if you were referred to Uber by another driver)
  5. Click "Next."
  6. Enter the city you will be working from.
  7. Choose if you wish to be a ride-share driver (carrying passengers), be a delivery driver (delivering food), or both. You also have the option to deliver with Uber Eats via bicycle if you don't have a car.
  8. Click "Continue."
  9. Enter the following information for your background check:
    • Legal name (first, middle and last)
    • Driver's license number
    • State that issued your driver's license
    • Current zip code
    • Your full date of birth
    • Your social security number
  10. Click "Continue."
  11. Click the box to receive a free copy of your background check.
  12. Tap on "I authorize and agree" to start the background check.
  13. Enter the following information about your vehicle:
    • Make
    • Model
    • Year
    • Vehicle Color
  14. Select "Continue."
  15. Download the Driver App on your Mobile Device.
