How do I split an Uber fare?

A simple 4 step guide for solving this common Uber problem quickly and effectively by GetHuman

Before you get started, be sure you have: Email address on the account, Password
After you have a requested a ride and pick on the Uber app you will then see a little symbol that will allow you to split a fare
Tap the bottom of the app after the request and click "Split fare"
You will then be prompted to send an invitation to split the ride with friends as they will then need to accept by clicking the link and signing into their Uber apps
