What Do I Do If I'm Having Trouble with My Ubereats App?

If your UberEats app is giving you trouble, there are a few simple steps you can take to try to fix it.

Close the App

  1. Close out the app fully (this step will vary depending on your type of phone).

    1. For an iPhone, you double click on your home button and swipe up to close out all of your open apps.

    2. For an android, you can close your background apps by launching the recent applications menu. Find the app you want to close on the list, tap and hold the app, swipe it to the right to close it.

    3. Reopen the UberEats app and see if it is working correctly now.

Log out of Your Account

  1. Try logging out and then back into your account.

  2. Open the app

  3. In the bottom right corner, click on the person icon.

  4. Click on your name at the top.

  5. At the bottom of the screen, click 'Sign Out.'

  6. You will be signed out. Wait two minutes before signing back in.

  7. Enter your mobile number.

  8. You may be prompted to enter a password that is texted to you.

  9. Enter your password.

  10. You are signed in. Now, see if the UberEats app is working correctly.

Restart Your Phone

  1. Try restarting your phone to see if that fixes the issue.

    1. For an iPhone, hold down the power button and the volume button on the top right and left of your phone, at the same time. Slide the button that appears on the screen to power the phone off. Hold down the same buttons to restart your phone. Now, try opening the UberEats app again.

    2. For Android phones, hold the power button and the volume buttons on the top of your phone, at the same time. A reboot menu appears, and you can select the option to restart your phone.

  1. Check your phone to see if there is a pending software update, or if the UberEats app needs an update.
