How Do I List My Property on VRBO?

VRBO or Vacation Rentals by Owner is a vacation rental marketplace owned by the Expedia Group. The online marketplace has over 2 million vacation rentals that offer different types of rental properties such as cabins, beach houses, condominiums, single-family homes. All it takes is to search for a property and book your next home anywhere in the world. RVs and vans are allowed so long as they have a base location. Guests can use your RV and van for traveling but they need to return it to the base location.

If you're a property owner or a property manager, you can increase your rental income when you list your homes on VRBO. You get to set your own price, rules, dates, etc. You can create virtual tours to allow travelers to navigate the property. However, virtual tours are available only for properties in the US.

How to List Your Property on VRBO

  • Click List Your Property located on the top right corner of the VRBO website.
  • Enter all basics such as the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.
  • Click Next and enter your property's address. Then click the blue arrow.
  • Create your account with VRBO.
  • View the potential of your rental property and click Continue.
  • Go through the checklist and enter the relevant information.
  • The listing type of your property defaults to Pay-Per-Booking.
  • Click Next.
  • Edit the payment information and your billing address.
  • Accept VRBO's Terms and Conditions before clicking Place Order.

  • Must accurately portray the property
  • The location must be exact
  • Don't copy from another listing
  • Comply with the Content Guidelines and Marketplace Standards
