If you lost or broke your device, you can report it to Verizon Wireless and get a solution. There are lots of options for replacing your device depending on the nature of your problem.

Reporting Broken Phones due to a Manufacturing Defect

If your phone is broken due to a manufacturing problem, you should report to Verizon Wireless as soon as you can. A manufacturing defect may be an electrical or mechanical problem. It does not include damage due to outside forces. You will get a replacement depending on how long t has been since you bought the device.

Less than One Year After Purchase

If you find that your device has manufacturing damages less than one year after purchase, you can have it replaced free of charge. If it has been over 15 days since you purchased it, it will be replaced with a Certified Like-New Replacement.

If your phone is broken but you are not sure of your eligibility to get a replacement, you may contact the customer support team for clarification.

More than One Year Since Purchase

You may get a replacement of your phone even if it has been more than one year since you purchased your phone. The damage has to be due to mechanical problems. You need to have the Total Mobile Protection, Total Mobile Protection Multi-Device, Extended Warranty, or Total Equipment Coverage.

You will get a replacement that is of a similar make and model as your broken phone. The features and color may not necessarily be the same.

Reporting a Lost Phone

If you suspect that your phone is stolen, you should try to re-trace your steps before reporting it. If you are unable to find it, suspend your service temporarily. If you do not, the thief may continue using it. If you have a GPS locator, try to track your phone using a different device. Report it only if you are sure that it has been stolen.

Follow these steps to replace your device.

  1. If you are enrolled in Total Equipment Coverage, Total Mobile Protection, Wireless Phone Protection, or Total Mobile Protection Multi-Device, you can file for a claim.
  2. If you are not enrolled in any programs to protect your device, you can purchase a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Replacement device. This is possible if you have not purchased a CPO device in the past year.

Reporting Damage due to Other Reasons

If your device has any sort of physical damage, you can report the problem and get a replacement. This applies to all sort of damage including a broken screen or water damage. You can report the problem and get help depending on whether you have insurance.

1. If you have enrolled in Wireless Phone Protection, Total Mobile Protection, Total Equipment Coverage, or Total Mobile Protection Multi-Device, you should consider filing a claim.

2. If you enrolled in AppleCare, reach out to Apple's customer support team for help. If you qualify for phone repair, you may get help through iCracked.

If you are unable to get help with your lost, stolen, or broken phone, you can contact the customer support team for help. The easiest way to contact them is by phone. You will be connected with an agent to guide you through the process of replacement. The help desk may help you find answers for broken or damaged phones and other common problems. You can get help from the help desk any time you want.

Other ways to contact the customer support team include Twitter, Face book Messenger, and live chat. Verizon Wireless does not offer support through their email.
